Celebrating Success in Industrial Recruitment

Throughout the last 12 months, Taila has continued to strengthen relationships with her clients in the industrial sector and successfully add new clients to her portfolio due to her ability to adapt and promptly provide an exceptional level of service. Industrial recruitment is challenging, especially in the current labour market; however, Taila takes it all in her stride. Her passion for supporting local businesses and candidates is a testament to her success in industrial recruitment.

Attracting and Retaining Talent in the Industrial sector

Recent events such as a global pandemic, Brexit and the damaged candidate perception of industrial roles are all reasons why industrial businesses have difficulty filling both permanent and temporary positions. Specifically, within Staffordshire and Cheshire, there are many industrial roles available and the competitive nature of industrial pay rates, working hours and benefits are all a huge factor in candidate career choices. Taila works hard to overcome these challenges through honest, transparent relationships with her clients and actively encouraging her candidates to fulfil their potential and see every opportunity as a chance to gain the experience needed to stand out in the industry.

Talia’s advice to employers in the industrial sector who are having difficulties fulfilling their roles is to provide opportunities for new candidates to upskill and train. Taila said, ” I work with a number of clients that allow candidates who join their teams to upskill into new roles; they spend time with candidates to train them to the level required for the job role.” Providing this opportunity goes a long way to making workers feel valued members of the team – a key component to successfully attracting and retaining top talent.
