Electrical Test Engineer

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm

Key responsibilities as an Electrical Test Engineer:

• Inspection and test of equipment produced by the company to ensure the safety and functional operation of the equipment.
• Follow test and inspection drawings and a hardware test specification written for means of the project.
• Support the software team to facilitate the completion of tests.
• Test activities include point to point wiring checks, LVD electrical safety checks, high voltage withstand tests and many more detailed in the project hardware test specification.

Required skills as an Electrical Test Engineer:

• Competent in test wired assemblies.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring schedules and general assembly prints.
• Understanding of working within an ISO 9001 compliant quality system.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability work well as part of a team and independently.
