Full time Monday – Friday or they will consider 4 days

Up to £27,000 DOE

Our successful and growing manufacturing client based in Stoke on Trent are looking to recruit a HR Coordinator to support the needs of the business and oversee 2 sites. This HR role will encompass various duties as below so you need to be comfortable working in a busy fast paced role.

It is essential that you drive as you will occasionally need to attend another site close to Chester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR advice and guidance to managers throughout the business
  • Overseeing the employee life cycle from onboarding through to leavers
  • Monitor attendance and sickness
  • Keep all employee files and information up to date
  • Manage all disciplinaries and grievances
  • Resolve any employee disputes
  • Support in company recruitment, monitoring the market and local wages etc
  • Monitor performance throughout the business, working closing with managers
  • Help managers identify high potential employees
  • Ensure all relevant training is untaken
  • Support with monthly payroll and benefits

The ideal candidate will:

  • You will have worked in a generalist HR role previously
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have an understanding of employment law
  • Able to multi task and work in a busy fast paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • CIPD would be beneficial but not essential (study support is an option)
  • Health and safety knowledge is beneficial
