Job Title: Health and Safety Coordinator
Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities as a Health and Safety Coordinator include:
- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace.
- Collaborate with department heads to address any health and safety concerns and provide guidance on corrective actions.
- Deliver comprehensive health and safety training programs for employees, ensuring awareness and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Keep abreast of changes in health and safety legislation and proactively update policies and procedures accordingly.
- Act as a point of contact for health and safety inquiries and provide timely advice and support to employees at all levels.
Requirements as a Health and Safety Coordinator:
- Proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably within a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and assess risks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
