Our Client is a long-established, forward-thinking family business based in Staffordshire who have a fantastic  opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-driven part-time administrator to join their Accounts team, to support the processing of their weekly payroll for 80 plus employees and co-ordinate their purchase ledger. This is a part time role working 22.5 hours a week. 

As an Accounts Administrator you will be: 

  • Supporting the preparation of the weekly payroll, for their drivers, workshop and warehouse teams together with their weekly paid office staff, from the processing of clock card and time sheet data, through to BACS preparation and transfer using Sage Payroll.
  • The successful candidate will be required to take full responsibility for this process during their Payroll Manager’s holidays.
  • Purchase ledger processing, from the receipt and verification of supplier invoices to the preparation of payments, using their Stirling Accounts software
  • Providing administrative support for other areas of the finance function, as appropriate.
  • Company specific training will be provided to the successful candidate. 

As an Accounts Administrator you will possess the following skills:- 

  • Knowledge of completing end-to-end processing of a weekly payroll for 60 plus employees.
  • IT skills and knowledge are essential, together with the ability to become skilled in the operation of the Stirling Accounts software, which forms an integral part of their finance function
  • Be aware of specific time restrictions 
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in a professional manner 
  • To be able to work as part of a team which is fundamental 
  • Be flexible with deadlines
