Product Specialist

The Product Specialist is the link between the commercial department, vendors and sales. We are looking for your skills to drive successful sales activity and demonstrate exceptional product knowledge.

Salary: £20,000 – £22,000 per annum plus bonus

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm

Contract type: Permanent

Key responsibilities as a Product Specialist:

• Establish, develop and maintain relationships with all key vendors.
• Educate and train sales teams on product details.
• Show an understanding & awareness of trends and market changes and how they may impact the business.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders in sales, commercial and purchasing to ensure that communications and relations between the departments are effective and consistent.
• First point of escalation to all product related queries.

Required skills as a Product Specialist:

• Confident & outgoing personality
• Proven ability to build relationships with customers.
• Organisation skills – able to plan and prioritise own time and be self-motivated.
• Ability to communicate with and influence key stakeholders, individuals and groups, at all levels.
