Sales Manager

Our well-established manufacturing client, based in Uttoxeter, are looking to recruit a knowledgeable Sales manager to join their growing team. Being responsible for managing and training a team of sales professionals covering the UK and European market you will have proven management experience and be able to forecast revenue and set targets/budgets. You will have a whole host of benefits working for this role including onsite parking and the company is also easily accessible. 

Hours of work: 

Monday Thursday 8.30am 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am 4pm

Desired skills as a Sales Manager:

-Proven experience in planning and implementing sales strategies

-Competence in analysing, reporting and presenting data to colleagues

-Experience & dedication in customer relationship management and delivering a great customer service

-Previous experience managing and directing a sales team

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Ability to lead and motivate a sales team

-Proven track record of ones involvement with increasing sales revenue through successful management

Key responsibilities as a Sales Manager:

-Developing & executing sales targets, regularly monitoring performance of the team and its individuals

-Introducing & managing KPIs in line with company sales targets

-Reporting & presenting statistics to management, sales & marketing

-Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team

-Coordinating with marketing on lead generation

-Developing & managing key accounts to increase spend

-Identifying new income streams

-Developing your sales team through motivation, counselling, and product knowledge education

-Development and execution of growth plans and call targets for existing customers that will maintain and/or expand existing sales levels

-Promoting the organisation and products at exhibitions

-Understand the varying types of our customer base and how they interact with our products and services

-Planning & conducting regular sales meetings
