  • What types of roles can Appointments Personnel help me find?

    We recruit office professionals for various roles including accounts, customer service, administration, data entry, call centre, reception, secretarial, marketing, HR and managerial positions and many more!

  • Can I take on temporary positions whilst looking for permanent roles?

    Yes, you can! Many candidates take on temporary positions whilst searching the perfect permanent role. Taking on temporary assignments is also a good way to see which environment suits you best.

  • How do I register with Appointments Personnel so that you can help me find permanent employment?

    The first thing to do is send your CV to one of our consultants, you can do this here.



    One of our qualified recruitment specialists will then review your cv and assess if we can support you in your job search.

  • I have applied for a job but I haven’t heard anything back?

    Due to a large number of applicants, only those shortlisted for interviews will be contacted by an Appointments Personnel recruitment specialist. We aim to get back to all shortlisted candidates within 48 hours. If you haven’t heard from us, it is likely you have not been shortlisted for this role. We will contact you if any other suitable vacancies arise.

  • Do you charge for your service?

    No, you will not be charged as a candidate to use our service.

  • What areas do you cover?

    Appointments Personnel cover the Staffordshire, Cheshire and Derbyshire regions.

  • What support will you offer me?

    We pride ourselves on offering support and advise that suits your job search requirements, from CV support to job offers. Whether you are looking for advise on the local job market, or have applied for a job opportunity, our local commitment is reflected throughout our services.

  • What happens if I go for an interview and I am offered the job?

    The Appointments team will confirm your job offer and start date details; you will then receive an email confirmation of your job offer in preparation for your first day. You will then receive your contract directly from your new employer.

  • I am applying for a permanent position, what documents do I need to provide to Appointments?

    If your application is going to be processed further and you are shortlisted, it is Appointments Personnel’s policy to obtain, check and copy documentation from all of our candidates, both temporary and permanent. Therefore, you will need to provide the identifications detailed during our registration process.

  • What information do you need from me to obtain references?

    Appointments Personnel’s referencing policy is two years references from the present day. 



    Should there be any career gaps on your CV, then these gaps must be justified and supported by a either a Statement of Fact or character reference. Character references must not be related to you and must be in a professional position, e.g., doctor, police officer, teacher etc. You must have known this person during your career gaps.

  • Will you redo my CV for me?

    Once you are registered with us we will discuss your CV and offer advise on how your CV can be improved if necessary. You can also download one of our CV templates or register for one of our webinars.

  • How is my personal data stored?

    Appointments Personnel is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we process your personal data (including sensitive personal data) and is available here.

  • How do I ask for my personal data to be removed?
