We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Business Development Executive to join our Commercial team. This role is focused on driving new business growth, re-engaging existing customers, and developing long-term client relationships within the exterior products division.
You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, generating leads, converting prospects into active customers, and supporting accounts through their onboarding journey and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales:
- Identify and convert new business opportunities to deliver sustainable sales growth.
- Re-engage lapsed customers and generate new opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and networking.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting activity.
- Achieve agreed sales targets, KPIs, and revenue objectives.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and key decision makers.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products and solutions.
- Act as the main point of contact during onboarding and early customer development.
- Support customers from first enquiry through to first order and repeat business.
Systems & Process Support:
- Demonstrate ordering systems and digital platforms to customers.
- Accurately update CRM systems with pipeline activity, opportunities, and customer interactions.
- Work closely with internal teams including Digital, Commercial, and Customer Service.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a sales, business development, account management, or customer-focused role.
- Experience working in a target-driven environment.
- Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and manage multiple customer relationships.
- Confident using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital tools.
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, windows/doors, or related sectors desirable but not essential
