Territory sales based role covering Norfolk, the Home Counties, Greater London, Kent, the South Coast and surrounding areas.

We are working in partnership with a well-established UK manufacturer who are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to cover Norfolk, the Home Counties, Greater London, Kent, the South Coast and surrounding areas.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded professional with experience in manufacturing, building materials, or the construction supply chain who enjoys building relationships and working independently in a field-based role.

The Role
As Business Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities across the region
- Managing and expanding existing client accounts
- Building strong relationships with merchants, developers, and trade clients
- Presenting and promoting technical product solutions
- Supporting the National Sales Manager with territory planning and reporting
- Representing the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions
Candidate Profile
This is a field-based territory role, and it is important that candidates are located within or near the regions or surrounding areas to allow efficient access across the territory.
We welcome applications from individuals who can demonstrate the following:
- Experience in B2B sales within manufacturing, construction, or building materials
- A strong track record of business development and relationship management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to self-manage, prioritise and deliver against objectives
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience working with joinery products or similar technical/construction items
- Familiarity with builders’ merchants or trade supplier environments
- Knowledge of relevant construction industry standards or regulations
