Our well-established client based in Birmingham is looking to recruit a Temporary Tyre Fitter to support their growing team. This is a stand-in role, working 3 days per week with flexible working hours. Please note there are no weekends or callouts required.
You will have a whole host of benefits working in this role, including the use of a company vehicle.
Key responsibilities as a Commercial Tyre Fitter:
- Managing tyre maintenance within the contract.
- Complying with all contract policies, including removal of tyres before the minimum tread depth of 2mm, whilst ensuring full tyre life is extracted.
- Carrying out inspections and bookings.
- Building stock to cover the garage until the next visit.
- Removing serviceable tyres and processing them correctly before returning to stock.
- Ensuring paperwork is completed daily on a bespoke system.
- Processing daily damaged tyres and obtaining customer sign-off.
- Reviewing stock daily and raising issues with managers where required.
- Updating stock sheets with deliveries and collections.
- Completing weekly stock control.
Desired skills as a Commercial Tyre Fitter:
- Computer and IT literate.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
Location: Birmingham
Pay Rate: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour (£30,000–£31,200 equivalent salary pro-rata)
