What You’ll Be Doing:
- Keeping a close eye on outstanding customer payments
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date financial records
- Building strong customer relationships and discussing payments and repayment plans
- Resolving payment-related queries with a calm, professional approach
- Conducting credit checks and assessing new customer risk
- Allocating payments and managing debit notes with precision
- Producing regular credit reports and supporting debt recovery efforts
- Collaborating with colleagues to drive continuous improvement in processes
What We’re Looking For:
- A confident communicator with a knack for negotiation
- Organised, detail-driven, and comfortable working to deadlines
- Solid understanding of credit control procedures and financial best practices
- Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with systems like Agresso is a bonus
- Someone who enjoys problem-solving and working as part of a close-knit team
