We are recruiting for a Customer Sales Support to join a dynamic and supportive team based in Stone. As a Customer Sales Support, you will play a key role in ensuring customer enquiries, leads, and requests are handled efficiently and professionally. You will work closely with internal teams and external customers to provide accurate information, support order and sales processes, and help ensure a smooth customer journey from enquiry through to resolution.
This Customer Sales Support role would suit someone who is proactive, detail-focused, and confident managing a varied workload in a busy commercial setting.
Key Responsibilities
In the role of Customer Sales Support, your duties will include:
- Managing and monitoring the sales customer service mailbox, ensuring queries are handled promptly and efficiently
- Qualifying incoming sales leads before passing them to the appropriate sales teams
- Responding to customer enquiries such as delivery updates and document requests in a timely and professional manner
- Managing customer credits, returns, and complaints, ensuring all actions are logged accurately and resolved within agreed timescales
- Providing support for warranty and service-related requests, ensuring all necessary information is captured for quick resolution
- Liaising with warehouse teams and customers to coordinate EX Works collections and shipments
- Ensuring all communication and processes comply with export regulations and internal policies
- Answering customer phone calls within agreed response times and delivering excellent service standards
- Supporting sales order processing where required, ensuring accuracy and timely updates to customers
- Escalating significant complaints or issues to the Customer Experience Manager when necessary
- Working collaboratively with Sales, Service, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and supporting the ongoing development of customer service processes
What We’re Looking For
The successful Customer Sales Support will have:
- Previous experience in a customer service or sales support environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently at all levels
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
- Experience managing multiple tasks in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach
- GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) at Grade C or above
- A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer experiences
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is desirable, with full training provided
