We are recruiting for a Customer Service & Internal Sales Supervisor to join a small busy team delivering excellent service to customers and supporting internal sales operations. This role offers the opportunity to take a leadership position, driving team performance, improving processes, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The position is initially temporary, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
A little bit about the role:

Supervise the internal sales and customer service team to ensure high-quality service and achievement of SLAs.

Coordinate departmental activities, including people, processes, and systems.

Resolve issues proactively to maintain consistency in customer service across phones, emails, and internal systems.

Identify opportunities for process improvement to increase efficiency and safeguard the customer experience.

Manage team holidays, sickness, and breaks to ensure full coverage at all times.

Support training and development by identifying areas for upskilling within the team.

Oversee order processing, back-orders, held orders, cash orders, and general quality output.

Manage claims and escalations, ensuring resolution within agreed KPIs and appropriate approvals are obtained.

Maintain B2B2C relationships, providing live updates and managing key accounts to achieve service level agreements.

Prepare and report daily KPIs to the leadership team, including orders received, processed, despatched, calls handled, and claims logged.
Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in a customer service or internal sales supervisory role.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, coach, and motivate a team.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to resolve issues proactively and maintain a consistent customer service experience.

Comfortable working with systems and reporting tools to track performance and KPIs.
