About the Role
A unique opportunity has arisen for a skilled Class 2 Driver with HIAB/crane experience to join a confidential organisation. This hands-on, customer-facing role combines professional driving with crane operation, requiring a strong focus on safety, compliance, and precision. You will be responsible for the safe transport, handling, and positioning of heavy and bulky items across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a HIAB-equipped vehicle with crane and grab attachment.

• Load, unload, and position goods with precision and care.

• Complete all required documentation, including delivery notes, returns, and digital records.

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with transport regulations.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely loading and deliveries.

• Adhere to all health and safety procedures, wearing PPE where required.

• Maintain vehicle and equipment in safe, working condition.

Qualifications & Licences

• Full UK HGV Class 2 Licence

• Valid HIAB Crane Licence with Grab Attachment

• Current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Fewer than 6 points on licence (no DR or IN convictions)

Experience & Knowledge

• Multi-drop delivery experience preferred.

• Experience with load securing using ratchet strapping systems preferred.

• Trailer towing experience on flatbeds advantageous.

• Strong UK geographical knowledge.

• Understanding of road transport regulations.

• Ability to calculate load positioning accurately.
