Are you a reliable, hands-on Van Driver / Site Support professional who enjoys variety, travel, and practical work? This is a great opportunity to join a busy, supportive team delivering and installing bespoke furniture at commercial sites across the UK. If you’re confident driving a van, don’t mind early starts, and like seeing a job through from start to finish, this Van Driver / Site Support role could be ideal for you.

You’ll be travelling nationwide (often to London), working on-site in hotels, restaurants, and other commercial venues, and playing a key role in high-quality furniture fit-outs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Van Driver / Site Support, your duties will include:

  • Driving a company van to deliver bespoke furniture to commercial sites across the UK
  • Loading and unloading furniture safely, including new installations and removals
  • Supporting installation teams on-site with basic assembly tasks
  • Assisting with dismantling and removing old furniture during refurbishments
  • Representing the company professionally with clients and site staff
  • Staying overnight when required for long-distance projects (accommodation provided)
  • Maintaining excellent timekeeping to meet strict site schedule

Ideal Candidate Profile

We’re looking for a Van Driver / Site Support who can bring:

  • Previous experience driving a box van or similar commercial vehicle
  • Good UK geographical knowledge, particularly London and surrounding areas
  • Flexibility with very early starts (sometimes as early as 3am)
  • Physical fitness and confidence with manual handling
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team
  • Basic DIY or furniture assembly skills (using tools where needed)
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to completing each job to a high standard

What’s in It for You?

In this Van Driver / Site Support role, you’ll benefit from:

  • Competitive salary per annum with overtime paid at time and a half after 50 hours
  • Around 50 hours per week on average, offering consistent earnings
  • Paid overnight stays and covered expenses for long-distance jobs
  • Varied, active work – no two days are the same
  • A supportive team environment where reliability and effort are valued
  • Opportunities to build experience in nationwide logistics and installations

If you are interested in this role and feel you have the necessary skills and experience, we would love to hear from you! Please apply today to be considered for this opportunity.
