As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be supporting clients across the North of England, visiting customer sites to carry out maintenance, repairs, and operator training on specialist equipment. A company vehicle will be provided to support your travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair hydraulic, electrical, and battery-powered machinery
- Commission new machinery and train end users on safe and effective operation
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers
- Liaise with internal teams to prioritise workload and report service activity
- Accurately complete documentation and manage admin tasks effectively
- Use digital systems to plan and record service schedules
About You:
- Proven experience in field service or mechanical/electrical maintenance
- Solid understanding of engineering principles and machinery repair
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proficient with IT systems, including Microsoft Office
- Positive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently
- Full UK driving licence is essential
