Are you a proactive and experienced Finance and Office Manager with a strong head for finance and operations? We’re working on behalf of a growing and well-established company in the service industry, and they’re on the lookout for a confident Finance and Office Manager to lead their administrative function and oversee key financial operations.

This is a varied and hands-on role that blends people management, financial administration, and office coordination. You’ll play a vital part in streamlining internal processes, ensuring financial accuracy, and creating a productive, organised working environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Overseeing all aspects of office operations and administration, ensuring smooth day-to-day running
  • Managing a small admin team, including performance reviews, supervision, and workload allocation
  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of weekly timesheets, expenses, and monthly payroll reporting
  • Overseeing invoicing and customer account statements; monitoring payments and handling queries
  • Reconciling key financial elements including petty cash, company card transactions, and bank statements
  • Managing key records such as pensions, health schemes, vehicle maintenance, office supplies, and engineer tools
  • Coordinating renewal of company insurances, supplier contracts, and professional memberships/accreditations
  • Supporting compliance processes (e.g., data protection, industry-specific accreditations)
  • Producing monthly management reports and finance packs for directors
  • Handling VAT, PAYE, CIS, and pension calculations, as well as year-end financial processes

What We're Looking For:

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a senior office/finance management role
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise across all departments and levels
  • Proficient in Sage accounting software and Microsoft Office tools
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple priorities
  • Discreet and trustworthy with confidential business information
  • A proactive problem solver who can streamline systems and drive efficiencies
