An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant
to join a reputable business in Stoke on Trent. You’ll take ownership of the Accounts Receivable function, supporting invoicing, receipts, credit control, and month-end processes.

Key Duties:
- Raise and post Accounts Receivable invoices and receipts
- Monitor credit control in line with company policies
- Produce monthly AR reports and customer statements
- Maintain customer records and carry out credit checks
- Support with month-end journals, reconciliations, and audits
- Upload data for invoice discounting facility
- Provide admin support across finance and other departments
- Contribute to improving finance procedures and quality standards
Desirable Qualities:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in finance admin or similar role
- Confident using accounting systems and Excel
- Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
