About the Role

Are you organised, detail-focused and experienced in a warehouse or Goods In environment? We’re looking for a Goods In Coordinator to join a busy warehouse team of 10, supporting the accurate receipt, processing and movement of stock within the business.

Working closely with the Goods In Specialist and Warehouse Supervisors, you’ll help coordinate incoming deliveries, maintain accurate stock records and ensure goods are processed efficiently and safely. You’ll also work alongside Purchasing and Quality teams to resolve delivery discrepancies, report damaged goods and maintain high standards across the warehouse.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on warehouse role with a strong administrative element, where accuracy, teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end Goods In process, ensuring all deliveries are received, checked and processed accurately.

  • Coordinate incoming deliveries from couriers and suppliers, updating the internal system to record goods received.

  • Assist with stock movements, put-away, storage, counting and rotation to maintain accurate inventory records.

  • Identify and report damaged goods, product faults, delivery discrepancies and quality concerns.

  • Support the Quality team with non-conformance reporting and accurate data capture.

  • Liaise with Purchasing regarding incoming deliveries, supplier issues and discrepancies.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using the internal ESCAPE system.

  • Carry out regular stock takes, inventory counts and stock movement activities.

  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards, ensuring the warehouse and working areas remain clean, organised and safe.

  • Follow all standard operating procedures, including health and safety and security requirements.

  • Use warehouse equipment, systems and software safely and effectively, reporting any faults or issues promptly.

  • Provide excellent service to internal teams and external contacts, supporting the smooth running of warehouse operations.

  • Undertake forklift truck duties where required and permitted by the appropriate licence.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and provide cover or additional support where needed.

About You

  • Previous experience in Goods In, stock control, warehousing or a similar distribution environment.

  • Highly organised and methodical, with excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.

  • Comfortable working with computerised stock control systems and updating records accurately.

  • Confident identifying and reporting stock discrepancies, damaged goods and delivery issues.

  • Able to prioritise tasks, manage competing demands and meet deadlines in a busy warehouse environment.

  • A proactive team player with good communication skills and a positive approach to problem-solving.

  • Reliable and adaptable, with a willingness to learn new systems, develop product knowledge and support wider business needs.

  • Committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety, housekeeping and customer service.

  • A valid counterbalance FLT licence would be advantageous but is not essential, as training can be provided for the successful candidate.

What's on Offer?

  • Salary of £27,500 per annum.

  • 20 days' annual leave, increasing to 21 days following successful completion of probation.

  • An additional Get Stuff Done day off following successful completion of probation.

  • Matched pension contributions of 4%.

  • Additional company benefits.

  • Counterbalance FLT training where required.

  • The opportunity to join an established warehouse team and develop your skills within a busy operational environment.
