Are you a quality-focused professional with a passion for continuous improvement?

We are recruiting for a Head of Quality and Business Systems role to drive and enhance an organisation-wide system, ensuring processes are robust, auditable, and embedded throughout all teams. This is a strategic role for someone with proven experience in leading quality initiatives and a strong understanding of process compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a small quality team, setting objectives and priorities.

  • Own and maintain the organisation’s quality management framework, ensuring standards are embedded in everyday operations.

  • Develop, standardise, and maintain documented processes across all functions.

  • Deliver training and ensure competency in process compliance.

  • Design and manage internal audits, tracking corrective actions and continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Oversee non-conformance and corrective action programmes, driving root cause analysis and prevention.

  • Monitor operational quality performance, identifying areas to reduce errors, rework, and inefficiencies.

  • Manage external reviews and maintain compliance with recognised quality standards.

  • Support supplier quality initiatives, including improvement actions and trend tracking.

  • Embed risk-based thinking and implement control measures across processes.

  • Lead quality reporting, KPI monitoring, and review activities at senior levels.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in quality leadership within a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Strong knowledge of recognised quality standards (ISO 9001) and audit experience.

  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive improvements.

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

  • Excellent IT skills and comfort with digital quality systems.

Desirable:

  • Formal qualifications in auditing or quality management.

This role is ideal for a senior professional looking to take ownership of a quality system, embed a culture of continuous improvement, and lead a small team while making a tangible impact across all operational areas.
