Key Responsibilities as Hospitality & Events Manager:

  • Lead, support, and mentor a team of Hospitality & Events Coordinators
  • Allocate and manage workflow using internal systems (e.g., Zendesk)
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality events and hospitality services
  • Ensure hygiene, food safety, and service standards are met
  • Train new team members and promote ongoing development
  • Coordinate complex or large-scale events from planning to delivery
  • Build strong working relationships with suppliers and internal teams
  • Maintain a centralised events calendar to ensure smooth communication
  • Support procurement, catering logistics, and dietary compliance
  • Continuously improve processes to enhance service delivery
  • Act as a brand ambassador, championing consistency and care

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in hospitality or event management with a people-first mindset
  • A confident, approachable leader with a collaborative style
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills
  • Strong communicator, able to build rapport across teams and suppliers
  • Calm and solution-focused, especially under pressure
  • Comfortable using hospitality software and workflow platforms
  • Awareness of food hygiene standards or willingness to train
  • A supportive team player with a genuine interest in helping others succeed
