We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a proactive and detail-focused HR Administrator to join their team in Ashbourne. This is a brand-new role designed to support a growing HR function — ideal for someone who thrives on structure, compliance, and making processes more efficient.

The Opportunity:

This role is crucial to helping the HR department move from a reactive service to a forward-thinking, proactive function. You'll be the backbone of day-to-day HR operations, ensuring all employee lifecycle processes run smoothly, accurately, and in line with regulations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing end-to-end HR admin across the employee lifecycle (contracts, offer letters, pay changes, and more)
  • Ensuring compliance with HR policies and legal frameworks (e.g. right-to-work, immigration, apprenticeships)
  • Maintaining up-to-date and secure employee records (digital and paper)
  • Assisting with transactional HR tasks and reporting on key HR data
  • Supporting continuous improvement by working closely with the wider HR team
  • Providing general administrative support where needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven HR administration experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance (especially immigration and right-to-work checks)
  • Highly organised, with great time management and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with data and generating reports
  • Clear and professional communicator, both written and verbal
  • A team player with a friendly, self-motivated approach
