HR Advisor (Temp to Perm)
Location: Stoke-On-Trent
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Contract: Initial 6-month temporary contract with a view to becoming permanent
We are currently seeking a proactive and hands-on HR Advisor to support our clients busy HR
team. This is a temp to perm opportunity offering a broad and varied role within a
collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration Support:• Work alongside our clients Payroll Clerk to support the end-to-end payroll process
• Liaise with line managers to chase approvals and required documentation
• Handle payroll-related queries from employees
• Support the team in reviewing and checking payroll data and payment accuracy
General HR Administration:
• Manage day-to-day employee queries in a timely and professional manner
• Assist in creating HR letters, reports, and employee communications
• Support on employee engagement and internal communication initiatives
• Maintain accurate employee records and support with reporting as required
Reception Support:
• Provide occasional cover for reception duties, including answering phones and
greeting visitors, as HR is also responsible for this area
About You:
• Previous experience in a similar HR role, ideally with exposure to payroll and
employee lifecycle processes
• Comfortable working across both administrative tasks and operational support
• A collaborative, flexible, and can-do attitude – happy to roll up your sleeves and
get stuck in
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicator with a friendly, professional manner
