Looking for a part-time role where you can use your invoicing and administration experience?

We’re looking for an organised and detail-focused Invoicing Administrator to join a busy office-based team.. Working 3 days per week, you’ll play an important role in ensuring customer invoices are prepared accurately and issued within company deadlines.

This is a varied administration role where you’ll be responsible for weekly invoicing, keeping customer and supplier records up to date and supporting the wider business when required. The role would suit someone who is confident working independently, has excellent attention to detail and enjoys keeping things organised.

Key Responsibilities – Invoicing Administrator

  • Prepare and issue customer invoices in line with company deadlines
  • Complete weekly invoicing and prepare related files for importing into accounting software
  • Update customer portals to reflect invoiced jobs
  • Ensure valuations are received for weekly invoice processing
  • Produce reports on unpaid invoices
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and supplier records
  • Use invoicing and accounting systems to support day-to-day finance administration
  • Support other areas of the business as and when required
  • Ensure a best-value and cost-effective approach is considered when purchasing materials
  • Keep all required training up to date
  • Follow company policies, procedures and Health & Safety requirements

About You – Ideal Invoicing Administrator

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in invoicing administration
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Confident using Microsoft Office 365 and general PC systems
  • Good knowledge of invoicing and accounting applications
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated and confident working on your own initiative
  • Comfortable working as part of a wider team
  • Positive and professional approach to your work
  • GCSEs including Maths and English
  • Working knowledge of Sage Accounts would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of Job Logic would be desirable
