Our client is looking for a reliable and hardworking CNC / FLT Operative to join their manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role working within a busy production environment, operating CNC profile burning machinery and forklift trucks while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Shifts -Monday - Friday -  Rotating 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC profile burning machinery, including gas and plasma cutting equipment.
• Safely operate forklift trucks and overhead cranes where required.
• Ensure production targets are achieved whilst maintaining quality standards.
• Carry out daily machine checks and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across the production area.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with supervisors.
• Identify and report production or quality issues promptly.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process improvements.
• Provide flexibility to support shift cover during holidays and periods of absence.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience operating CNC machinery within a manufacturing environment.
• Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance preferred).
• Overhead crane experience is advantageous.
• Good understanding of health and safety within an industrial setting.
• Basic IT skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Reliable, proactive and committed to producing high-quality work.
