We're seeking a dedicated Order Processor to join a busy and supportive team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating multiple tasks, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

As an Order Processor, you'll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are handled accurately and efficiently from start to finish. Working closely with customers, warehouses, transport providers, and internal teams, you'll help keep operations running smoothly while making a real difference to the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

As an Order Processor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is complete.
  • Reviewing order details and ensuring any special requirements are communicated correctly.
  • Providing accurate information internally regarding customer accounts and credit limits.
  • Inputting order details onto internal systems and external haulage and logistics portals.
  • Coordinating with warehouses, transport providers, and other external partners to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Monitoring order progress and providing updates to customers.
  • Responding to customer enquiries and offering professional support.
  • Investigating and resolving order-related queries and issues.
  • Maintaining accurate stock records and supporting inventory management.
  • Ensuring all administration is completed accurately and within required timescales.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful Order Processor will have:

  • Previous experience in office administration, order processing, and transport coordination.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong written communication skills with excellent grammar and proofreading abilities.
  • Confidence using computer systems, ideally including Sage software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
