Are you an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Officer with strong knowledge of Sage Payroll? Key Responsibilities:
• Manage monthly payrolls for approximately 150 clients using Sage Payroll
• Process starters, leavers, and changes to employee records
• Accurately calculate pay, deductions, pensions, and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.)
• Submit RTI returns and liaise with HMRC when required
• Respond to payroll queries from clients and resolve issues efficiently
• Maintain accurate records and ensure full compliance with payroll legislation
• Produce and distribute payslips, P60s, and other payroll documentation
• Support pension auto-enrolment processes and submissions
Ideal Candidate:
• Previous experience using Sage Payroll (essential)
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills
• Confident managing multiple payrolls and working to strict deadlines
• Strong communication skills and client-focused approach
• Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality
• Previous practice experience desirable but not essential
