Looking for a hands-on production role with the opportunity to go permanent?

We are recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role involving machinery operation, forklift use and general production duties, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

About the Role

Working as part of the production team, you will play an important role in ensuring production runs safely and efficiently. You will operate machinery, support day-to-day production activities and work alongside colleagues and management to maintain high standards across the workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a range of production machinery to manufacture finished products to a high standard.
  • Use a counterbalance forklift truck on a daily basis to support production activities.
  • Follow Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures at all times.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and efficient working environment.
  • Work proactively with managers, supervisors and colleagues to support continuous improvement.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and assist with different production requirements as needed.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail throughout production activities.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • A valid counterbalance forklift licence – essential.
  • A strong understanding of the importance of health and safety within a busy industrial environment.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team and support colleagues when required.
  • A reliable and committed attitude with a focus on maintaining high standards.
