Production Manager in Stoke-on-Trent

Salary: up to £55,000 depending on experience

Appointments Personnel is recruiting for a Production Manager in Stoke-on-Trent to join a well-established manufacturer. If you have a background in manufacturing operations, production scheduling and team leadership this role could be a great next step.

The Role
As Production Manager, you'll lead day-to-day operations on the shop floor, making sure production targets, quality standards and deadlines are met. You'll manage the production team, work closely with other departments and play a key part in improving how the site runs.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee production schedules to ensure targets, quality standards and deadlines are met.
• Manage and motivate a team of production staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and quality procedures.
• Liaise with engineering, quality and supply chain to resolve issues and keep work flowing smoothly.
• Monitor KPIs and report on production performance.

Skills and Experience
To be successful in this Production Manager role, you'll ideally have:

• Proven experience as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Good working knowledge of lean manufacturing.
• Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
• The ability to work confidently in a fast-paced production environment.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary of  up to £55,000, depending on experience.
