Production Manager in Stoke-on-Trent

Salary: up to £55,000 depending on experience

Looking for a Production Manager role on a fixed night shift? Appointments Personnel is recruiting for a Production Manager in Stoke-on-Trent to join a well-established manufacturer. If you have a background in manufacturing operations, production scheduling, team leadership and want the consistency of a set night pattern, this could be the role for you.

The Role
As Production Manager on nights, you'll lead operations on the shop floor, making sure production targets, quality standards and deadlines are met throughout the shift. You'll manage the night production team, work with other departments to resolve issues and help drive improvements across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee production schedules to ensure targets, quality standards and deadlines are met.
• Manage and motivate a team of night shift production staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and quality procedures.
• Liaise with engineering, quality and supply chain to resolve issues and keep work flowing smoothly.
• Monitor KPIs and report on production performance.

Skills and Experience
To be successful in this Production Manager role, you'll ideally have:

• Proven experience as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Good working knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
• The ability to work confidently in a fast-paced production environment.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary of £50,000 to £55,000, depending on experience.
• Permanent, full-time position.
• Fixed night shift from the outset, Monday to Thursday only.
