Production Office Scheduler

We are seeking an organised and proactive Production Office Scheduler to join our busy manufacturing team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a pivotal role, liaising between sales, design, and production teams to plan, update, and monitor the production schedule using ERP systems (including SAP B1) and Monday.com. You’ll play a key role in ensuring resources are used efficiently, deadlines are met, and customers are kept informed of their order progress.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (30-minute unpaid break)

  • Friday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM (30-minute unpaid break)

    Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

  • Holiday: 25 days plus Bank Holidays (8)

  • Pension: Employee 5%, Employer 3% (Legal & General)

A Little Bit About the Role

  • Plan, update, and maintain production schedules to meet customer requirements.

  • Communicate schedule updates to production, sales, customer service, and transport teams.

  • Chase sales and drawing office teams for progressing job packs into SAP.

  • Process production paperwork and create prioritised work lists for resource allocation.

  • Attend meetings to advise on workload, deadlines, and potential bottlenecks.

  • Update previous shift activities and revise schedules accordingly.

  • Track and report KPIs for machinery, equipment, and people.

  • Contribute to developing the scheduling system within SAP.

  • Liaise with multiple departments to ensure smooth workflow.

  • Assist production teams when required and maintain high work standards.

Getting to Know You

  • Proven experience as a scheduler within a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP B1 preferred).

  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent organisation, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Good numeracy, literacy, and attention to detail.

  • Clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Methodical, calm under pressure, and adaptable to change.

  • Team player who can also work independently.
