Production Operative – Newcastle under Lyme

Full-time | Monday to Friday 
Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm | Friday 8am - 12pm

Looking for a hands-on role in a growing technical manufacturing team? If you’ve got great attention to detail and enjoy building things the right way, this could be the perfect opportunity. We’re looking for a Production Operative to join our friendly, skilled team in Staffordshire.

What you’ll be doing day-to-day:

As a Production Operative, you'll play a key part in our bespoke manufacturing process:

• Cutting and stripping wires

• Crimping and soldering components

• Reading and working from schematic diagrams and customer drawings

• Applying heat shrink and adhesives

• Logging your work and progress in our system (Progress Plus)

• Following internal quality procedures (IPC/WHMA-620 Class 3 standards)

• Helping across different areas of production when needed

What we’re looking for:

You don’t need to tick every box, but here’s what would help you hit the ground running:

• Previous experience with IPC620 Class 3 is a big plus

• Sharp attention to detail and a steady hand

• Good communication and time management skills

• Comfortable reading technical drawings and instructions

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills

• Able to accept feedback and contribute to continuous improvement

• Flexible to support other team tasks when required
