We are looking for a skilled and detail-focused Production Associate to join a busy manufacturing team and support the assembly and production of high-quality engineered products. This role is ideal for someone with a strong manufacturing background who enjoys precision work, understands engineering drawings, and takes pride in producing finished goods to exacting standards.
A little bit about the role

Manufacture and assemble engineering components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods within the production department.

Machine fine-tolerance, high-quality finished products using a lathe.

Build finished goods in line with work instructions, quality standards, and production schedules.

Interpret engineering drawings and work instructions accurately.

Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet strict specifications.

Follow all Health & Safety and quality procedures at all times.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.

Assist with troubleshooting and resolving production issues as they arise.

Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.

Contribute to continuous improvement of production processes and the production area.

Undertake additional duties as required to meet business needs.
Essential:

Previous experience machining fine-tolerance products.

Experience using handheld tools within a manufacturing environment.

Computer literate.
-
Ability to work to a consistently high-quality standard.

Strong attention to detail with good hand-eye coordination.
-
Flexible approach and positive team-working attitude.
-
Manufacturing background with lathe experience preferred.

Knowledge gained through an apprenticeship or recognised training body advantageous.
