About the Role

We are looking for a Production Operative to join a busy workshop team.

This is a hands-on manufacturing role where you will be involved in a variety of production and workshop activities. Full training will be provided across different areas of the operation, including the use of machinery and production equipment.

The role would suit someone who enjoys practical work, is keen to learn new skills and wants to develop their experience within a busy manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out a variety of workshop and production tasks

  • Operating machinery and production equipment following training

  • Supporting the wider production team to meet daily requirements

  • Carrying out work accurately and efficiently

  • Following production processes and quality standards

  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

  • Working effectively as part of a team

  • Following all health & safety procedures

  • Supporting other workshop activities as required

Previous manufacturing or workshop experience would be beneficial, but full training will be provided for the right person.

Working Conditions

This is a busy manufacturing environment where the role is physically demanding.

The position involves:

  • Prolonged periods of standing

  • Manual handling

  • Working around machinery and workshop equipment

  • Using ladders and platforms when required

  • Following strict health & safety procedures

Hours & Pay

Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–4:30pm
Friday: 7:00am–3:30pm

Pay: £28,000- £30,000
