Training: Initial 2–3 weeks on day shifts at £14.25 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative  to join a growing manufacturing team based in Uttoxeter.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing experience who enjoys hands-on work and is looking for a long-term permanent position working night shifts.

The Role

As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for assisting with the assembly and production of large plastic storage tanks, ensuring products are manufactured safely, accurately and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately applying decals to customer specifications
• Preparing and cutting moulds
• Completing production and quality records
• Using power, air and hand tools
• Using cranes to safely move products
• Reporting maintenance issues, faulty equipment or damaged parts
• Working closely with colleagues and supervisors to maintain production output
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following company health & safety and quality procedures

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working within a manufacturing or production environment
• A good eye for detail and a methodical approach to work
• The ability to work safely and efficiently
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to work at height
• A strong commitment to health & safety and quality
• Flexibility and reliability
• A willingness to learn and develop within the role
