Project Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator in Stoke-on-Trent. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of security fencing and perimeter protection projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard.

A little bit about the role

  • Manage projects from contract award through to completion and handover.
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans, programmes and resource schedules.
  • Coordinate manufacturing, procurement, logistics and installation activities.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure key milestones are achieved.
  • Identify project risks and put appropriate mitigation measures in place.
  • Ensure all work is delivered in line with contract requirements and company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reports and records.
  • Work closely with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
  • Lead project meetings and provide clear updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support a high standard of health, safety and environmental compliance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across projects and processes.

Requirements:

  • Experience coordinating projects, ideally within an engineering, manufacturing or construction environment.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and site plans.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a practical and solutions-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with clients and different teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
