Are you organised, adaptable, and ready to take on a varied role in a fast-paced office environment? This opportunity as a Purchasing Administrator is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of front-of-house duties, admin support, and supplier coordination.

Working Hours:
4 day week Mon-Thurs 8am-5.30pm (36 hours and no Fridays)

You’ll be joining a friendly, supportive team where your contribution will make a real difference. Whether you’re handling reception, raising purchase orders, or supporting the accounts department, this is a great chance to grow your skills and be part of a business that values reliability and initiative.

Key responsibilities:

  • Greeting visitors and managing reception
  • Handling incoming phone calls and providing general support
  • Creating purchase orders and sending order acknowledgements
  • Generating quotes based on materials lists
  • Comparing supplier quotes and maintaining supplier records
  • Tracking deliveries and following up on outstanding orders
  • Monitoring stock levels and reordering supplies when needed
  • Coordinating with internal teams to understand purchasing needs
  • Supporting the accounts team with administrative tasks
  • Ensuring procurement processes are followed accurately

What we’re looking for:

  • Clear communication and good interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational habits
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and standard office systems
  • Previous experience in administration or purchasing is desirable
  • Able to work independently and use initiative
