QA Inspector

We are recruiting for a Quality Assurance Inspector to join a manufacturing environment supporting inspection and quality control activities across Goods In and Production stages. This role would suit someone with a strong eye for detail who enjoys working within quality processes and supporting high manufacturing standards.

The successful candidate will work closely with Production, Stores, and Quality teams to support Right First-Time manufacturing and assist with the timely resolution of quality issues.

Key Responsibilities
• Carry out Goods-In inspections on incoming parts and materials
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections using standard measuring equipment
• Conduct final inspections on completed products prior to shipping release
• Complete inspection records accurately and within required timescales
• Escalate quality concerns where issues are identified
• Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where required
• Support the identification and segregation of non-conforming products
• Assist with investigations and resolution of quality issues
• Maintain accurate quality records and registers
• Complete quality check sheets and inspection documentation
• Assist with maintaining QA registers and inspection logs
• Support the creation and maintenance of work instructions and quality forms
• Ensure all documentation is completed clearly and accurately
• Support Production and Stores teams with quality-related queries
• Assist in identifying recurring quality issues and trends
• Promote good housekeeping and quality standards across operational areas
• Work in line with company Health & Safety procedures

About You
• Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable using measuring equipment and inspection tools
• Organised and methodical approach to work
• Good communication skills and ability to work with operational teams
• Basic IT and administration skills
• Willingness to learn and develop within a quality environment

Desirable Skills & Experience
• Previous QA/QC inspection experience
• Exposure to ISO 9001 environments
• Experience completing inspection documentation or NCRs
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings or manufacturing processes
