This position is perfect for someone with experience in ISO9001 who’s looking to take ownership of an established quality management system. You’ll be working towards ISO13485, but no medical sector experience is required – training and support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage the company’s ISO9001 quality management system
- Support the ongoing development towards ISO13485(training provided)
- Coordinate and prepare for internal and external audits
- Take ownership of the audit system and ensure all records are accurate and up to date
- Oversee compliance with ISO14001 environmental standards
- Work independently, liaising with external consultants where required
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working with ISO9001 standards
- Able to manage audits and quality processes with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
- Confident working in a standalone role and coordinating with consultants
