Are you a technically minded professional with experience in industrial or technical sales? This is a great opportunity to join a growing Pump Sales team as a Technical Sales Engineer, where you’ll help customers find practical, cost-effective pumping solutions tailored to their applications.

In this Technical Sales Engineer role, you’ll work closely with clients across construction, utilities, distribution, and industrial processing. You’ll provide technical guidance, product recommendations, and trusted support — using your engineering understanding to deliver the right solution, not a hard sell.

Key Responsibilities – Technical Sales Engineer

As a Technical Sales Engineer, your role will focus on technical advice and customer support:

  • Providing technical support and pump product recommendations based on application requirements
  • Working closely with clients across construction, utilities, distribution, and industrial processing sectors
  • Interpreting technical specifications, drawings, and performance requirements
  • Developing fit-for-purpose and cost-effective pump solutions
  • Supporting the sales process with technical expertise rather than commission-driven selling
  • Building strong, long-term relationships with customers and internal teams

Ideal Candidate Profile

We’re looking for a Technical Sales Engineer with a strong technical foundation and customer-focused approach. You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience in technical or industrial sales
  • Background in pumps, fluid handling, or mechanical engineering (highly desirable)
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical specifications and application data
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident PC literacy and experience using CRM or sales systems
