Key Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:
- Loading and unloading vehicles and moving goods between warehouse locations
- Receiving goods and processing purchase orders
- Picking, packing, and labelling orders accurately
- Preparing shipments using a stock management system
- Ensuring secure and safe packaging of all outgoing items
- Preparing accompanying paperwork and verifying order accuracy
- Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment
- Operating forklifts and pump trucks, and reporting any maintenance issues
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful Warehouse Operative will have:
- Experience working within a warehouse or logistics environment
- Familiarity with dispatch and goods-out processes
- A valid FLT licence and a full, clean driving licence
- Good communication and organisational skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Basic IT skills (Excel and Word); system training will be provided
- A proactive and safety-conscious attitude
