About the Role

Are you looking for a hands-on warehouse role with consistent weekday hours? Appointments Personnel is recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join an established international business based in Stone, Staffordshire.

This is a varied position working across all areas of the warehouse, including goods-in, inventory and despatch. You will be responsible for handling incoming deliveries, locating and replenishing stock, picking and packing customer orders, and ensuring goods are prepared accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, including shipping containers.

• Receiving deliveries and checking incoming goods for accuracy.

• Locating, storing and organising stock within the warehouse.

• Replenishing stock and supporting inventory control.

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.

• Supporting the goods-in, inventory and despatch teams as required.

• Working towards and meeting set productivity targets.

• Prioritising workloads and completing tasks within required timescales.

• Carrying out general warehouse duties, including manual handling.

• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment.

• Following company procedures and maintaining high standards of health and safety.

About You

We're looking for someone with a positive attitude who takes pride in completing tasks accurately and efficiently. You'll need to be comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment where attention to detail and productivity are equally important.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of concentration.

• The ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks.

• A reliable, proactive and practical approach to work.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• A willingness to carry out physical warehouse duties, including manual handling.

• An awareness of the importance of health and safety.

• The ability to work efficiently towards set targets.
